Join us for this Thursday evening’s free Insight talk: a full-colour forray into the dynamic world of Superheroes with our Ephemera curator, Stephen Lowther. The talk will be richly illustrated with some unusual and rare graphic novels from the Library’s collections and will explore the historical perspectives and influences that shaped the changes to these famous muscle-bound physiques.

Free tickets for the talk are isssued on a first-come, first served basis and are available from 5.30pm on the day. Please leave coats and bags in the cloakroom on arrival. The talk takes place between 7-8pm and spaces are limited.

For more details on attending see the Wellcome Collection website.  You can also read an interview with Stephen about the topic in the current issue of Time Out.
