We’re relocating our pre-1900 Medical Collection

In preparation for the upcoming development works, Library staff are moving pre-1900 books from the open shelves in the Medical Collection to the onsite Library stacks. We will be moving the books over a period of a few weeks, in shelfmark order.

We anticipate that the books will remain accessible for the vast majority of the time, and will only be out of use for a day or so whilst they are relabelled and moved to the stacks. Once they are moved, you will be able to order them online via the Library website.

Only books published between 1850 and 1899 will be moved to the stacks. Books published in or after 1900 will remain on the open shelves.
