BBC Radio 3 will be broadcasting live from Wellcome Collection throughout the last weekend in September.

From Friday 25 September – Sunday 27 September there will be live music, discussion and one-off programmes and events taking place throughout the venue.

If you would like to attend, tickets for the events are available via the Wellcome Collection website

The Wellcome Library will remain open on Friday and Saturday, but there could potentially be some noise disruption whilst the programmes are being prepared and broadcast.

On Friday 25 September, all Library spaces will be open as usual, from 10.00-18.00, but there may be some noise bleed as the venue is prepared and the broadcasts begin.

On Saturday 26 September, the Wellcome Library will open from 10.00-16.00, but there will be no access to the reader spaces and books on the Gallery from 10.00-14.00. The Reading Room will also be closed from 10.00-14.00. Again, there may be some noise bleed into  the main spaces of the Library throughout the day.

The Reading Room will be closed all day on Sunday 27 September.

If you have any questions about Library services during the recordings please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
